Recovery Support Services (RSS)

At HCCADA, we are dedicated to supporting individuals facing or at risk of alcohol and drug challenges. Through our recovery coaching and support services, clients can connect with a Peer Recovery Support Specialist in the way that works best for them—whether online or in person. Our program serves adult men and women in Bexar County and surrounding areas, with the goal of enhancing the quality and prevalence of long-term recovery from substance use disorders.

Our Recovery Coaches are here to guide you on your journey. They provide role modeling, mentoring, and connections to community resources to help you achieve your long-term life goals.

Specialized Recovery Services
Through our recovery grants, we offer targeted services to meet specific needs:

  • Community Recovery Support: Recovery Coaches provide assistance to the general community.
  • Emergency Response: Coaches collaborate with EMS and first responders to support individuals who have experienced an opioid overdose.
  • Specialty Courts: We work with specialty courts to offer recovery coaching for participants.
  • Hospital Programs: Coaches support new mothers seeking recovery assistance through hospital departments.

Services include individual coaching, recovery support groups, fun and health recovery activities, housing, transportation, and employment assistance. Services are at no charge and covered by State funding.

Flexible Support Options

We also host daily Recovery Support Groups via Zoom at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. These groups, organized by our San Antonio office (SACADA), are open to all. To join, contact us at (210) 225-4741 or email us at info@sacada.org.

At HCCADA, we believe in empowering individuals to rebuild their lives and thrive in recovery. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
